There are three things that determine how much electricity you have in your boat.

  1. Generation
  2. Connectivity
  3. Storage

Everyone understands the need for a nice generator to generate electricity and the need for batteries to store that electricity. However, too many people skimp on the connections between the generator and the batteries.

In the worst case scenarios, this could lead to a loss of 90 percent of the charge. To compensate, some people upgrade to a larger generator which does next to nothing since the extra power is lost due to bad connectivity.
